40. Read all books of Simone van der Vlugt (5/22)

I love the books of Simone van der Vlugt and that is why I want to read all her books. I just finished reading Schijndood.  A beautiful book about anxiety dreams, regression therapy, lepra and the black death. I find it so interesting to read about the past and the way Simone describes it makes me want to read all her books as fast as I can! That is why I am starting with the book De bastaard van Brussel tonight.

I just made a stew but I did not like the taste of it. I am a person that loves chicken and fish and beef is not my thing.

I have just made a collage from a couple of my received postcards from Postcrossing. It was a really hard thing to do because the cards don’t have the same size. So you sometimes see a little white stripe here and there but I guess I just have to live with it.

The photo’s are not that great but at least you can see what it looks like (on these photo’s you can see that the frame is not hanging on the wall but it is now, I will post those pictures soon!):

The Sound of Music

As you now know I went to the Efteling yesterday and in the evening my family and I went to the Efteling theater to see The Sound of Music. It was a good musical but I like to see something with a little bit more drama in it. It was just too happy for me.

Winter Efteling

I have visited the Efteling (a Dutch amusementpark) for my birthday yesterday. They had a wintertheme in the Efteling and… it really snowed yesterday! It was very beautiful and a lot of fun! Too bad it was very crowded. We had to wait an hour for some of the attractions.

98. Buy a lottery ticket COMPLETED (21-01-2010)

I have bought a lottery ticket today. The winning numbers will be announced on a saturday… who knows, I might áctually win something!

Update: Unfortunately I didn’t win anything. But there is always a next time!

I received a great card today! A card of the Great Wall in China! It looks lovely, too bad that I don’t have a scanner.

I was very happy to see the mailman today! I received cards from the tags that I participated in and I have received one Washington postcard for the Surprise me!- tag and one extra card from Oregon!
